Howdy ACS!

We have an upcoming meeting this Tuesday  (11/14) at 7 pm in CHEM 2121. We are glad to welcome a panel of current chemistry grad students to speak about their experience working towards a PhD in chemistry. Come out to hear about these students journey to the A&M Chemistry program and their experiences while here. See below for a quick introduction of each student.

Lacey Douglas is a 2nd-year grad student who graduated from Xavier University in Lousiana with a B.S. in Chemistry. She currently works in the Banerjee Group designing electroactive nanostructured surfaces for corrosion and energy conversion.

Azzy Francis received her B.S. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University in 2016 and currently is working with the Sheldon Group.

Branford Wilkins is a 2nd-year graduate student who graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in chemistry. Branford works in the Nippe Group working to synthesize single molecule magnets from lanthanide-transition metal bonded complexes.

Quentarius Moore is a 1st year graduate student who received his B.S. in Chemistry from Jackson State University (JSU) and a subsequent M.S. in Computational Chemistry from JSU. Quentarius currently is working in the Batteas Group.

Alex Kosanovich is a fourth year grad student and works in the Ozerov Group conducting research on the synthesis of organic/organometallic transition metal complexes.

Hope to see you there!
